A sad end for a customer favorite
Affinity Dispensary on Colfax has been a solid medical and recreational dispensary option for about a decade. Affordable prices, great management and staff, and most importantly, a nice selection of in-house strain selections.
Unfortunately, as of 2023, Affinity has eliminated one of their best in-house offerings on their medical side. Kush Mints, commonly cultivated at many locations, isn't particularly rare, but finding an elite version is. Affinity's version wasn't just elite, because in my experience it was arguably the best version of this strain in all of Greater Denver, no matter the price point. As of 2023, Affinity began reselling whole sale flower from other companies among other minor changes, but it seems like operations haven't quite been as smooth as years past.
I hope Affinity finds their way once again, and maybe next time, ask loyal customers about which strains to keep or dismiss. Cannabis businesses of all types should survey their customer bases, so Colorado doesn't keep losing great community staples.
