They will continue wholesale operations in Colorado
At one point in time, Mighty Tree earned a reputation as one of the best dispensaries selling in-house flower. Their selection of cultivars, boasting both familiar and unique options, were grown at an elite level. On this platform, Mighty Tree received various favorable flower reviews, but some of the favorites included Blue Dream (some of the best available in Colorado), Member Berry (still haven't found an equivalent cut), and GG4 (literally stuck to the side of the jar like Gorilla Glue). Shout out to the Guava Jelly for it's immense, unique flavor as well.
About a year ago, we first reported some emerging business issues, as Mighty Tree closed the doors to it's location off South Broadway - one of its two retail locations at the time. They informed us they were consolidating operations because they weren't moving enough product to support two stores.
Now, a year later, we're saddened to learn they're no longer supporting any retail operations. If you look them up on Google, you'll see both locations show "permanently closed". If you dial up their phone number, you'll also be informed both shops are closed, BUT, they are open for wholesale business.
As a matter of fact, the first time CCC Culture encountered flower from Mighty Tree, it was through a wholesale transaction facilitated by A Cut Above on Broadway. At that time, they carried Mighty Tree's cut of San Fernando Valley OG and Ore Blanco, both on the recreational side. As long as consumers can still encounter some of Mighty Tree's best cuts on the market, like we did 4 years ago, that's a huge win for Colorado consumers and visitors alike. Hopefully Mighty Tree will continue to pump out the flower that's so fondly remembered during their retail apex. Mighty Melts are also still available for all the hash heads.
