Strain: Apple Fritter
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Hybrid
Genetics: Sour Apple x Animal Cookies
Aroma (in jar and ground up): Subtle aroma from the jar, a little sweet and spicy, reminds me of stale cinnamon. Upon breaking it up and grinding it down, these nugs exploded with funkiness like faint manure.
Taste: Touch of sweetness akin to a gala apple, earthy and spicy.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Light to moderate harshness.
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 27.28
Effects: Smoked this in the day time and in the night time before bed, and I can honestly say this strain suited both situations well. It consistently made me relaxed, focused, and comical.
Overall: This batch of Apple Fritter from Bloom County is a truly versatile strain. It provides just enough relaxation to feel calm, but not sedated, and just enough focus to not be overly alert if you wish to consume before bed. The flavor is very unique, and worthy of the strain’s name inspired by the baked treat. I’ll even say I picked up on the spicy cinnamon/sugar profile a bit more than the apple. Apple Fritter can definitely make the rotation as an “anytime strain” for my purposes.
