Strain: Bubblegum Zkittlez
How it’s marketed: Indica
Genetics: Zkittles x Bubblegum Biscotti
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the jar it has an aroma reminiscent of pink cotton candy or pink chewing gum, mostly sweet. Upon grinding, a touch more pungency kicks in.
Taste: The sweet bubblegum comes through most prominently at first, but there’s flashes of savory baked goods bouncing in and out.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Smooth
Medical or Recreational: Recreational
THC percentage: 20.99
Effects: Smoked this late at night and felt a slight uptick in energy. Able to maintain focus and clarity with a touch of rejuvenation. During the day it served as a mellow refresher as well.
Overall: Bubblegum Zkittles from Malek’s was a quality smoking experience overall, but may not necessarily be a go-to option for me when it comes to picking from Malek’s library of genetics. With that being said, it would certainly be a prime secondary option on any occasion I’m searching for a Malek’s release, but can’t find the primary strain I’m seeking. It has a lot of redeeming characteristics, especially in the flavor department, and the best use case of this cut I found was during a workday, or out running errands. As usual, a great effort from the team at Malek’s. I’d put this one in my secondary rotation.
