Strain: C4
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: CBD Strain
Genetics: Shiskaberry x Cotton Candy Kush
Aroma (in jar and ground up): One of the fruitiest strains I’ve smelled from the container, reeks of sweet berries, but also has slight floral undertones. Upon grinding, the sweetness becomes a little sharper.
Taste: Mostly sweet and fruity like red berries, but the taste has a touch of cinnamon-like spice I couldn’t trace in the aroma. As it smokes, the floral (mostly lavender) tones come alive.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Very Smooth
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 1.67 (Max) 11.1 CBD
Effects: Relaxed and eased my mind during the day, as I felt calm yet focused. Personally, I’ve been a little more stressed than usual lately, and this strain helped me keep proper perspective, alleviating anxiety. If you feel tired, but can’t sleep, this strain works wonders to assist in falling asleep.
Overall: This was my first time with the C4 strain in any capacity. There’s other phenotypes that double as an “indica-leaning” cut, but High Level Health consistently keeps this CBD version. I absolutely loved this batch, and found pretty much everything I’d seek in a primarily CBD-based strain. It provided much needed relaxation and clarity to help me problem solve some of life’s ills. The taste reminded me of a strain from Oklahoma I reviewed last year called “Velvet Ropes”, as the berry and floral combination is a huge success for my liking, so finding that flavor profile locally excited me. This year I’m keeping more CBD strains in the regular rotation in general, but C4 will be among the leaders in this category for my needs throughout the day and night.
