Aroma (in jar and ground up): You can smell the sweetness in this strain all the way through. As soon as I started breaking it apart, the smell of cherries rushed into my nose. The smell gets even brighter after grinding it up.
Taste: I love fruity-tasting strains, and Cherry Punch was right up my alley. From the first pull I was able to taste the cherry flavor, and after finding out it’s crossed with Purple Punch, the amplified sweetness makes sense.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Very smooth experience all the way through.
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 17.46
Effects: This strain is very calming, but not tiresome at all. It’s a well balanced hybrid that would be great for anxiety. Ideally, I’d pull this strain out for a social gathering to set the vibe, get the conversation flowing.
Overall: I’m a fan of this Cherry Punch, as the flavor makes me want to repeatedly spark it up. I feel like this cross cuts the AK-47 diesel flavor from the cherry AK and just replaces it with more sweetness from the purple punch. It’s a great mood enhancer, and a great option to take the edge off if you’re feeling uptight or anxious.
