Strain: Divinity 35
How it’s marketed: Hybrid
Genetics: Divine Gelato #3 x OGKB 2.1
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the jar it smells sweet with a touch of dairy, like a fruit yogurt. Upon breaking up and grinding it gets much louder with a pungent, musty profile. You can smell some pine throughout.
Taste: Immediately reminds me of Kush Mints with a piney, mint-laden essence, but has other flavors that permeate throughout like rubber/grease and mild sweetness.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Smooth
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 30
Effects: Starts out with general relaxation, but easy to let this one creep into moderate or heavy sedation. A few hits or subtle use of Divinity 35 are great for a relaxing morning or afternoon in which you can retain focus, but it’s easy to overdo it, as this cut operates like a creeper. Furthermore, once I over indulged past that initial relaxation stage, I found myself feeling slumped, no longer wanting to be productive.
Overall: My first time trying flower grown by iion turned out to be a huge success. After consuming Divinity 35 the first time, I quickly became a repeat customer. Lately, there’s been a few substantial grow teams that have ceased their production of Kush Mints (one of my personal favorites) and this version of Divinity 35 gives a lot of that essence with flavor and effect. iion’s website doesn’t officially list the genetics, but based on internal sources and Seedfinder, these seem to make a lot of sense. The Gelato comes through on the aroma, the OGKB on the flavor, and both on the effects. I’m interested to see if iion has another potential favorite in their repertoire, but this version of Divinity 35 makes the consistent rotation for sure.
