Strain: Don Shula
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Hybrid
Genetics: The White x Diagonal
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the container it has a distinct musty, dank, diesel and dill aroma. After grinding it gets considerably louder.
Taste: In accordance with the origins of the genetics, this cut has classic diesel and OG tones upfront, but there’s also a noticeable garden-fresh brightness akin to one of the green vegetables like spinach or cucumber.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Very smooth
Medical or Recreational: Recreational
THC percentage: 30
Effects: Euphoric, uplifted, relaxed, slow-creeping body high. This batch gave me that smooth operator vibe when functioning through the day and night, meaning I felt on top of my game, ready for whatever the day brings. This is something to smoke to feel more optimistic and refreshed.
Overall: This batch of Don Shula has everything I could want for a more balanced strain, and stands as a shining example of what makes me enjoy @Cherry_Colorado when I come across their products (see my Dank Dough and Macadamia reviews). First and foremost the effects are versatile for a variety of uses which makes this a great cut for the all-day rotation, anything from biking and hiking, to sharing at a social gathering with friends. From what I’ve read, this flavor profile sounds a little more unique than other versions that bear a stronger citrus taste, and I happen to love it the way it is. Excellent job by the team at Cherry, as this batch of Don Shula is undefeated just like the 72 Dolphins.
