Genetics: (Tangerine Haze x The White) x Mimosa
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the bag it mimics mimosa with a sweet tangerine profile. Becomes more pronounced upon grinding with increased sweetness.
Taste: Largely as advertised, reminiscent of the tropical alcoholic drink. Sweet citrus flavor reminds me of a tangy fruit punch.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Mostly smooth

THC percentage: 19.6
Effects: Relaxed, poised, focused. This is excellent for playing video games or strategy games. Generally uplifted mood.
Overall: Vera Cultivation in Boulder is currently working on their website as of this writing, but from what I could find, they first broke ground on their grow site in 2017. I just recently became familiar with the company due to switching my medical dispensary membership. They offer general drops and more limited drops at my medical shop, both of which are very reasonably priced. This double mandarine daiquiri was a limited drop, and was well worth the slightly increased price point. The flavor bursts onto the palate, and the effects are well suited for a productive day, or locking in on a specific task. Looking at their strain selection, they commonly breed from Free World Genetics, which is exactly where this Double Mandarine Daiquiri originated from. I did try one other Vera strain from their general release, and wasn’t quite as keen on it, but this cut of Double Mandarine Daiquiri can make the weekly or daily rotation. It’s a great all day smoke. Great job by the team at Vera.
