Genetics: OG Kush x Sour Diesel
Aroma (in jar and ground up): Subtle candy-like sweetness from the bag. Funkiness erupts upon grinding while still sweet, with a touch of black pepper sensation.
Taste: Has a subtle sweet lavender and floral taste, but also has spans of a flavor similar to unsalted crackers (I had to really think about this latter comparison).
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Very Smooth, easy on the lungs

THC percentage: 32.63
Effects: Relaxed, focused, feeling smooth, taking everything in stride. The OG Kush genetics definitely shine through, and it feels like the sour diesel gives it a little lift.
Overall: Locol Love has an extraordinary genetic library, and that makes reviewing their strains in Colorado pretty fun (you can see it for yourself on their website). In general, I tend to love crosses with OG Kush, but I also enjoy sour diesel, so it only makes sense why I fell in love with this strain early on in my experience (I tried it before learning the genetics). That “smooth” confident high is something anybody with anxiety will appreciate, but also fits a social setting well for solid conversation in general. On one occasion I did indulge pretty heavily, about twice as much as usual, and in that instance I did experience some brain lock, but that’s more my irresponsibility. Overall, this batch suited me well, so I’ll be looking to put it in the rotation again for sure.
