Strain: Excalibur
How it’s marketed: Indica

Aroma (in jar and ground up): A bit dank and hoppy from the jar and while ground up.
Taste: A touch hoppy and dank, but the flavor isn’t too robust, a bit nondescript.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): On the harsh side.
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 31.19
Effects: Even-keeled, mild relaxation.
Overall: I’m a big fan of Kaya Cannabis as a company overall, and have placed a vast majority of their cuts in my rotation, but this batch of Excalibur just didn’t do it for me. I’m a huge fan of Kush as well, so I thought this would be a home run, but the effects weren’t as heavy as I expected. The flavor also didn’t pop with gas or sharp rankness, so I didn’t find any of the highly desired attributes I was expecting. Kaya made my top 3 cultivars of 2023, so I’ve come to have high expectations for all of their outputs, and this one just didn’t meet that standard. Still yet, Kaya will continue to earn my dollars through other offerings, so I look forward to sharing future favorites.
