Aroma (in jar and ground up): Open this up, and you’ll get a swift punch of gas. Very pungent, and less sweet than pretty much all the other Cookies strains aside from Project 4510. Once ground up, the smell radiates a little more.
Taste: As with the smell, the taste is straight diesel/gas/petro. At times you'll get hints of that classic Cookies sweetness reminiscent of baked goods.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Smooth, pretty easy on the lungs.

Effects: Energetic for sure, feeling amped up, in a great mood, focused. I can understand why this is called Gary Payton, because I’m ready to talk some shit too.
Overall: Previously, I’d only had a pre-roll of the #GaryPayton, and in general I don’t believe pre-rolls provide the same flavor or fullness of trying the strain itself. Even in the pre-roll I could sense the gas, and the flower accentuates that even more. This batch of Gary Payton made me feel great overall, and provided an uplifting spirit/energy. For me, this has everything I desire in a sativa as far as effects. The essential level of energy, but no raciness, and just enough relaxation to focus.
