Strain: Gary Satan
How it’s marketed: Hybrid
Genetics: Gary Payton x Jealousy
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the jar it’s reminiscent of its parent strain, Jealousy, as it’s sugary sweet. A touch pungent as well.
Taste: Flavor favors jealousy as it derives sweetness from the sherbet and gelato lineage. Sugary sweetness with hints of gassiness throughout.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Smooth
Medical or Recreational: Recreational
THC percentage: 27
Effects: First couple times, this cut hit me heavily, making me groggy and sleepy at night. Earlier in the day, I felt moderate sedation and a subtle body high creeped in slowly. Some brain lock and zoning out as well. A little goes a long way with this one
Overall: By proof of this Gary Satan, it had been far too long since I’d had flower by Antero Sciences. This is personally the best Gary Payton cross I’ve experienced. The high slaps pretty hard from just a few hits, and I found myself dumbfounded on multiple occasions. The balance of the flavor between the crosses is exactly how I would’ve hoped. There’s no doubt I’ll be looking to keep Gary Satan in the rotation as long as it's available. Excellent job by the Antero team. I’d like to see Antero more readily available in areas outside of central Denver, such as Aurora, Centennial, or Parker.
