Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the container it’s mostly funky, and has a little lift of tartness. Upon grinding it becomes more musty, more dank, touch of skunkiness.
Taste: Has a healthy level of sweetness that reminds me of grape bubble tape gum. There’s undertones of greasiness too.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): On the harsher side, lots of lung pressure.

THC percentage: 29.85
Effects: Body high comes on pretty quickly, relaxed, mind at ease. Did a wake and bake with this strain and felt it behind my eyes even after being well rested.
Overall: As far as this strain’s genetics, I’ve had Grandaddy Purp a handful of times, and haven't come across Trophy wife before, so I largely didn’t know what to expect. I am familiar with the grape-like flavor commonly associated with Granddaddy Purple, and this cross does an extraordinary job of extracting those qualities. The candy-grape flavor shines heavily and left me wanting more. The effects were rather heavy, as relaxation and mild sedation flow through the body and mind. Smoking this late at night can likely put you to sleep after a long day, but in the morning or mid-day it’ll leave you dazed and zoned out for a while, in a perfect state to indulge in some entertainment or self-care. I’ll definitely be adding Mighty Tree's cut of Gold Digger back to the rotation.
