Strain: Gorilla Glue
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Hybrid
Genetics: Chem’s Sister x Chocolate Diesel
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the bag it’s straight petro, diesel, gas, and it’s very loud. That loudness maintains through grinding it, but you get a touch of earthiness.
Taste: This batch of Gorilla Glue is pretty much straight diesel on the palette. I got a little sour/tartness at times, but that’s about it.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Moderately Harsh
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 22.04
Effects: This cut of Gorilla Glue hit me more like a straight indica than a balanced hybrid, although anyone familiar with Gorilla Glue should expect that. I felt very dreamy and zoney the first time I smoked it in the daytime. When I smoked it at night the first time, I fell asleep with the joint in my hand, then dropped it in the couch as I woke up. This stuff is strong, no other way to put it.
Overall: If you need to be productive, alert, or relied upon for an important task, don’t smoke any of this Gorilla Glue beforehand. When I saw this batch sticking to the jar when I came into Mighty Tree I was excited to smoke some as soon as I arrived home. This is one of my favorite strains in general, and this effort by Mighty Tree is an elite representation of the classic staple. It has the intense diesel profile on the nose and palette, and straight knocks you around like a sumo match. I’d highly recommend this for any indica lovers, and this is most definitely staying in the rotation for the long term.
