Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the bag it has a pungent garlic-like aroma that gets slightly cut with some sugary sweetness. There’s some very faint grape aroma at this point. Upon grinding the sweet grape sensation becomes livelier.
Taste: The gasoline/diesel profile most certainly shines brightest on this batch, but some of that garlic flavor occasionally pops up in the background along with sour to unripened grapes.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Mostly smooth, slight lung pressure.
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 20-24
Effects: Mood enhancer, euphoric, relaxed. A happy/joyous smoking experience. A strain that can assist in mentally uplifting one out of a rut. Spawns motivation/inspiration.
Overall: In the midst of some of the world’s troubles, it’s important to find laughter and positivity in day to day life, and this batch of Grape Gasoline from Bloom County helped me accomplish that task. As I’ve noted recently, the year has been off to a stressful start personally, and that can take a mental/spiritual toll, which can easily spiral downward, but this cut of Grape Gasoline came at the perfect time to help stop the spiral in its tracks. I’m not saying this is something that will cure any long term depression etc, but that it can be a strong spark of motivation in the right direction. There are numerous health studies still being conducted around the subject of mental health and cannabis use, including as recent as September 2020 on WebMD, so I’d encourage you to check those out for your own research.
Wrapping up about the strain itself, the flavor profile is incredibly robust and mostly stays pungent/savory. It gives you enough lung pressure to know it’s there, but not overwhelm. I’ll definitely be looking to add more Grape Gasoline into my all-day rotation this year and beyond. Great effort by the team at Bloom💪🏾
