Strain: Guava Jelly
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Indica-Dominant Hybrid
Genetics: Forbidden Fruit x White 91
Aroma (in jar and ground up): Very much as advertised if you’ve ever eaten Brazilian food with guava jam or jelly served on the side. Has a hint of earthiness as well. Sweetness picks up a bit upon grinding.
Taste: Just like the aroma, nailed the taste as advertised on this batch. Pretty much exactly on par with sweet guava fruit, with a tinge of earthiness.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Mostly smooth
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 31.59
Effects: Relaxed, focused, excellent mood, mild sedation. Gave me a continuous mellow vibe I could indulge throughout the day. I found this excellent in various situations, including work, exercise, and just chillin on the couch.
Overall: This is my third time reviewing flower from Mighty Tree, and every time now I’ve been impressed. I’ve tried strains I’ve seen elsewhere, and cuts I’ve only seen at their locations, and in both scenarios they’ve executed at a very high level. The minute I saw this guava jelly sitting in the jar, the numerous amount of large buds caught my eye, and then my initial excitement was only confirmed once I saw their beautiful trichome-laced contrast up close. It smells and tastes exactly as the strain name suggests (which I love in this case), and the effects were pretty much everything I could ask for in a consistent smoke. I really enjoyed this batch of Guava Jelly, and I hope I’m lucky enough to stumble across the next one at the right time, because it will stay in the rotation.
Review Music provided by Neako and produced by Troy Jetson - The Entrance (OKAY) - Go stream that!!! This is the only song I know that talks about smoking Guava...
