Aroma (in jar and ground up): The aroma from the jar is pungent, musty, and a hint of cheese. Upon breaking it up and grinding, more of the roasted hazelnut scent comes alive, along with a little spice.
Taste: Lots of nuttiness as expected, you’ll definitely get those roasted hazelnuts. The flavor also reminds me of cognac when you feel that spicy sweet finish. One of the most unique and delightful flavors I’ve experienced.

Effects: This strain has been a steady daytime option as long as I’m disciplined in smoking it. A joint or so can leave you feeling relaxed yet upbeat, along with smooth, focused and inspired. Keep smoking it (which is easy to do because the flavor is incredible), and you’ll find yourself feeling more slumped pretty quickly. Love waking up with this strain.
Overall: Verde Natural slayed it with this cut of Hazelnut Cream, as it delivers a uniquely robust flavor with a fast-emerging, uplifting high. This became my go-to strain during the workday, but would often continue smoking it through the evening, as it’s well suited to stay engaged with casual entertainment like videogames or table games. The distinct flavor hits my palette unlike most strains that aren't fruity, and I could chain smoke this strain if I didn’t need to be productive because it tastes that good. Hazelnut Cream at Verde can make my anytime rotation for sure.
