Aroma (in jar and ground up): This batch of Headband had a hard bite of gas upon opening the container along with some piney undertones. After grinding, pungency remains with a bit of citrus.
Taste: Reminds me of Royal Dansk Danish Butter Cookies (remember the blue tin cookies at grandma’s house). A bit on the sweeter side with a sour, earthy finish.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Moderately harsh, some lung pressure.

Effects: This was a straight headbanger to start for me (even though I’ve read it’s common for the effects of headband to be delayed). A few puffs in, I was met with a headrush, had like 10 different things I wanted to do at once, but after that initial feeling I felt focused and refreshed.
Overall: Lama Brand delivered the expected goods with this batch of Headband. When my head began racing from jump, I started bracing myself for a wild ride, but fortunately in my case, it added just enough adrenaline to transition me into a very focused state of mind. As time progressed, I really mellowed out, and had a peaceful clarity. I can’t even remember the last time I smoked pure Headband prior to this, but I’ve generally enjoyed most crosses I’ve had with headband, such as Dead Sour Band. I’d slide over to BGood and get this batch of Headband if you’re looking for something to smoke as you transition out of the work day, and into relaxation. It's worthy of the rotation.
