Headband Kush By Veritas

Updated: Jan 3, 2023

Strain: Headband Kush

Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Sativa Hybrid

Genetics: Headband x OG

Aroma (in jar and ground up): Opening the jar, I got hit with the earthy overtones, but upon a slight pinch of the buds, a sweet cheese smell came through. After grinding it up, the full gas aroma joins in creating an incredible smell in the grinder.

Taste: At first, this came off very sour, then gassy, but as I progressed through the joint the flavor became sweeter, almost evolving into a sour lemons and mixed berries type combination.

How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): This strain packs a punch on the lungs. Take it easy at first with this one. You’ll feel the fire in your chest pretty quick.

Medical or Recreational: Recreational

THC percentage: 25.18

Effects: Initial head rush, then wavy and blowed. I’m feeling a trance that borders on focused and foggy. Definitely feeling positive/upbeat, but oddly confused.

UPDATE: I tried doing this review last night, thinking I had the energy for it, but next thing I know I passed out and forgot smoking it (luckily I took notes last night lol). This is definitely more upbeat smoking in the day time.

Overall: So I smoked some of this headband kush in the night, and some when I woke up. I can safely say the initial feelings I had of foggy and “oddly confused” had to have partly been caused by my fatigue last night, because today it has me full of energy, clarity, and focus. I think this exhibits some of the great versatility of this strain. You can smoke some at night and get a tranquil focus, or have some in the day and feel bright, upbeat, and able to work. I’d recommend trying this out for sure, and I’m also looking forward to trying more flower from Veritas.
