Aroma (in jar and ground up): The smell from the jar resembles fruity candy. Banana Fig is a cross of Purple Fig and Banana Split, and those qualities shine through. Upon grinding, a dank, herbal, and diesel profile becomes more prominent.
Taste: Flavor reminded me of the Willy Wonka candy, banana runts, but the animal mints provided a nice counterbalance that helped accentuate the moments of sweetness.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Moderate - some lung pressure, occasional coughing.

Effects: Loved smoking during my workday, as it was relaxing, yet didn’t leave me slumped, and refreshing/renewing with no angst. Precise balance in effects.
Overall: Fig Farms demonstrated elite status in the California market with every experience I encountered with them. Fortunately, the dispensary I visited, Flower & Leaf Cannabis, was offering deals known as “Fig Farms Fridays”, which helped with their top tier pricing, as I was able to purchase one pre-packed eighth at full price, and another at half price. I also had the option to purchase 2, and get a third for free. I chose Blue Face (previously reviewed), and this cut of Holy Moly.
The Holy Moly warrants the name. Smell/Flavor profile kept me wanting more, as the layers of sweet and savory/sour played well with each other on the palate. I was able to enjoy this strain anytime of day as well, whether early to get my mind in the right place to work or run errands, or at night when I could calmly unwind. This cut would undoubtedly be in constant rotation if I could get it locally (especially with a deal like Fig Farms Fridays). I’d highly recommend this one if you find yourself crossing paths in Los Angeles.
Beyond the quality flower, I’d like to acknowledge the detail of the total experience with Fig Farms. Their website is one of the best I’ve visited, as they have an updated strain list, and automated store finder, which is incredible if you’re visiting from out of town. The merch has some dope designs as well.
