Strain: Lilac Diesel 22
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Hybrid
Genetics: Silver Lemon Haze x Forbidden Fruit x NYC Cherry Pie x Citral Glue
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the bag you can instantly tell why this strain has lilac in the name. Heavily floral with undertones of earthiness and citrus. Upon grinding, the citrus takes lead with a touch of funk.
Taste: Lilac is the primary flavor, but secondarily there’s hints of classic diesel/gas with some earthiness.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Very smooth
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 29.61
Effects: Focused, energized, euphoric, but can be dangerously absent-minded. The first time I consumed this batch I filmed the review, and then 2 or 3 sessions later I sat down to film the lilac diesel review again, totally forgetting I had already completed it. I had a LOT of pictures/video to choose from.
Overall: This batch of Lilac Diesel from Mighty Tree delivered as expected. It’s a great strain to be productive during the day, or for venturing out and about. I really enjoyed the flavor, but it could be polarizing depending on your preference toward floral profiles. Perhaps I would have enjoyed just a little more influence from the diesel lineage in this cut, but that’s really splitting hairs. This Lilac Diesel 22 from Mighty Tree can definitely make the daytime rotation.
