Strain: Mimosa
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Sativa Dominant Hybrid
Genetics: Clementine x Purple Punch
Aroma (in jar and ground up): In the container, sweet oranges, and after grinding it, a little more citrus and tartness.
Taste: It really blew my mind the first time trying this batch of Mimosa, as it really gave me that flavor overall. I’ve had lots of familiarity with orange/citrus-based strains, but the champagne pop that gets pulled off on the inhale, and the little tinge of sweet crispness as you hold it is masterful. Incredible job by the medical grow team at Affinity.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Very smooth
Medical or Recreational: Medical
THC percentage: 32.24
Effects: Head rush, but relaxed, laid-back in the body, but can still make moves if I need to. Uplifted.
Overall: I really appreciate how much dedication Affinity shows to its medical side of the dispensary, in a time when a lot of dispensaries have turned a cold shoulder...just wanted to say that off top. As far as this batch of Mimosa, it’s hard to imagine that it gets much better than this effort. The way the purple punch is balanced just enough to give you the sweet crispness associated with champagne, and layer it with the clementine’s intense orange flavor warrants the strain’s name as advertised, and is a joy on the tongue. This strain is ideal for a weekend morning for me. Not too heavy in the morning, but still a nice buzz that I probably wouldn’t want to do too much work on.
