Strain: Mint Smash 2
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Hybrid
Genetics: Mai Tai x Kush Mints
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the bag it has a subtle herbal aroma along the lines of basil and oregano. Upon grinding, it gets more of a pungent funkiness.
Taste: Can definitely taste the kush mint influence as the subtle, herbal minty flavor takes precedent, while diesel influences remain in the background. There’s also hints of a sweet-tea like flavor at times.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Moderately harsh
Medical or Recreational: Recreational
THC percentage: 17-20
Effects: Mild sedation, relaxed, became largely aloof toward the entertainment I was consuming.
Overall: Mint Smash 2 by Bloom County delivered an ideal experience for my regular evening needs. It allowed me to quickly unwind, but didn’t keep me dazed out for too long so I could be productive later in the night. The flavor profile, like many other Bloom Country cuts, was very unique, and I can’t say I’ve tasted anything quite like it with this tandem of flavors. My lungs did feel some pretty intense pressure, so it was a little harsher than I’m accustomed to. With all that being said, Mint Smash certainly has a place in my later afternoon/evening rotation.
