Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the jar it smells musty and dank with some gassy notes. Aroma intensifies on the grind and a very subtle sweetness emerges.
Taste: Surprisingly sweet but is evenly balanced with gas and classic kush flavor. Robust profile.

Effects: Heavy sedation, body high, relaxation and ease of mind. This became my go-to night time option while in my possession. Easily put me into a deep sleep after a soothing meltdown into the bed.
Overall: OGKB x Okie marks another great release from A Cut Above’s medical grow during the latter half of 2024, As explained in another recent review, ACA experienced a mixed bag of a year, but the consistent presence of the medical grow team became a bright spot in my experience. In short, I loved this cut because it was the quintessential heavy hitter for a late night session. In the daytime, I’d still find myself yawning after a few pulls, but at night it was a straight KO. Great mix of flavors that interplay well on the palate round this cut out into something I’ll want to keep in the rotation when it’s available. I’ll update this review to report consistency next time I pick it up.
