Strain: Orange Peel
Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Sativa
Genetics: Clementine x Purple Punch
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the container, it has that classic Agent Orange aroma, like squeezing the mist out of an orange peel, more tart. Upon grinding, the aroma becomes sweeter.
Taste: Orange spice (like the tea flavor), but the name on this one is extremely accurate too, as I sense more of an orange rind flavor with it’s subtle bitterness, and when it calms down, that feels like the pith (white part of the peel).
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Very smooth
Medical or Recreational: Recreational
THC percentage: 25
Effects: Upbeat, easy-going, conversational. Ability to maintain clarity. This has been a very solid workday strain.
Overall: When I picked this strain up, I had a pretty concrete idea of what to expect, but I was still pleasantly surprised by the sheer accuracy of this strain name, and how specifically dialed in the flavor profile is. On Bloom County’s website, the cross is listed just as I showed above, Jack x Agent Orange, so I assume it’s Jack Herer due to the prominence of spice in the flavor. I generally enjoy cuts with strong limonene terpenes for taste and effects, and this was no exception. I'm looking to try Bloom's other recent orange induced strain, extra pulp, for comparison, as I think I may prefer the slightly sweeter option for the consistent rotation. With that being said, this cut will be a prime daytime option for productivity and collaboration. Great job by the team at Bloom County.
UPDATE: Genetics were later clarified by Bloom County Colorado
