Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the bag it smells like licorice and a fruit jam, a couple different types of sweeter aromas. Upon grinding it becomes funkier like manure, but still sweet.
Taste: Reminiscent of molasses along with licorice. It was earthy to start, but flavor continually soaks in over the course of the burn.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Moderately harsh, you’ll feel some lung pressure.

Effects: Relaxed, enhanced mood, subtle tranquility. After about 15 minutes, the feeling of sedation goes to another level, and you’ll find yourself zoning in and out.
Overall: Malek's first captured my attention with some of the most flashy packaging and customer loyalty I’ve seen amongst the Colorado Cannabis Community. Once you dig into the packaging, the substance behind the brand loyalty becomes more apparent. The buds are cured exquisitely, as they have that light pliable texture. I really enjoyed the smell and flavor of this strain, as I savored that unique licorice-like sensation. As far as prepackaged premium cannabis brands I’ve experienced around this price point, Malek’s has been the most worthy of a “special occasion purchase” if you want to spring a little more for something “boutique” in nature. This Panda Puffs can certainly make my lazy afternoon or evening rotation, and I’ll definitely be trying more strains from Malek’s in the future for sure!
