Pink Zushi #1 By Malek's Premium Cannabis

Close-up of a Pink Zushi cannabis bud with green and orange colors, set against a plain white background. The texture is dense and fuzzy.

Strain: Pink Zushi #1

How it’s marketed: Hybrid

Genetics: Zkittles x Mag Landrace

Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the jar, it smells of bubblegum and cane sugar. Upon grinding, it essentially keeps the same properties.

Taste: Closely follows the profile of the nose with bubblegum and cotton candy-like flavors. Has stretches where it's more doughy/bready.

How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Smooth

Medical or Recreational: Recreational

THC percentage: 19.95

Effects: Consistently calming. Helps enhance focus, or easy to zone out depending on activity.

Overall: I’ve said it repeatedly, and will continue to say it as long as it's true - Malek’s never disappoints. Every time I’ve grabbed something from Malek’s over the last few years, the execution level has been high. I appreciate the fact they’ve maintained a consistent operating model, as it’s clear they haven’t overextended their presence like many successful grow companies tend to do.

Getting into this batch of Pink Zushi, it checks all the essential boxes with robust flavor, ease on the lungs, and lasting effects that will keep you going for hours. I found myself liking it more as I let it set over time, as I kept it in the stash for about 5 months. If you pick this one up, I’d recommend stashing it for a few weeks before blazing it for optimal flavor and effects. Pink Zushi #1 may no longer be available, but #3 seemed to be the fan favorite anyway, so I’ll be putting that in the rotation based on my experience with #1.
