At first I was hesitant to give it a try, and it took me a couple days to even unbox it, as from the initial look, I questioned the size and its ability to outpower my EZ Grinder. The depth of the inner chamber in the Flower Mill more than makes up for any lost raw surface area with the 3-inch radius EZ grinder, and you should easily be able to grind 4-6 grams at a time.
The power and quickness of the grind is what really impressed me beyond my expectations. With my EZ Grinder, it takes a few turns back and forth, plus poking any extra lumps through the screen, as some chunks can get caught between teeth. With the Flower Mill, the weight of the steel, combined with its magnetized nature, forces all of the product through with no need to use poke tools. Usually only takes 3-4 twists, as opposed to the 6-10 twists with a conventional style along with further work to the product.
The uniform consistency of this grind is exceptional, as it helped to make my joints burn evenly, and on multiple occasions was able to stand the joint up on a flat surface as demonstrated in the video.
I truly love this product, and it has officially become my primary grinder, while my old reliable EZ Grinder will be delegated to travel-bag/backup status. Definitely recommend this one, and will update if anything changes, such as product-life expectations. Great job by the squad at Flower Mill USA, love the innovation 💡
