Rainbow Margy By Mighty Tree

Updated: Nov 19, 2022

Strain: Rainbow Margy

Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Hybrid

Genetics: Rainbow Margarita x Now N’ Later

Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the bag it’s a little earthy, touch of citrus, and largely carried by a ripe, sweet fruit sensation. Upon grinding, the aroma becomes more sour and funky.

Taste: Has a fresh cucumber-like earthiness to begin, but quickly transitions to a sweet candy-based flavor, could certainly be the Now N’ Later genetics coming through. This fresh earthiness profile balances with the fruity candy flavor throughout the experience.

How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Mostly smooth

Medical or Recreational: Medical (was also available recreationally)

THC percentage: 33.55

Effects: Moderate-heavy sedation (one-gram joint takes me a couple sessions to finish without passing out), relaxed, good mood, a little brainlock.

Overall: The team at Mighty Tree continues to impress me with this batch of Rainbow Margy. It was my first time ever having this strain, and I haven’t had the parent genetic strains before either, but I feel like I experienced all of them at once as intended. The flavor comes alive exactly as I’d expect for a candy and fruity drink themed combo. Similar to when I had Guava Jelly by Mighty Tree, there’s this consistent refreshing earthy/cucumber flavor that balances perfectly with the expected sweeter counterparts throughout. The effects hit me rather heavy, as I found this strain difficult to smoke during the day if I wanted to be productive. The heavy level of sedation, sharp flavor profile, and availability within Mighty Tree’s medical selection will certainly keep Rainbow Margy in my regular evening and late night rotation. Loved this one.
