Aroma (in jar and ground up): Out of the jar it smells earthy with a secondary tone of gas/diesel. Upon grinding, it picks up a musty/funkier stinch.
Taste: Primarily tastes like sugar and vanilla cookies, and secondarily, gas/diesel. Definitely felt the presence of myrcene with a faint mango-like fruitiness that came through intermittently.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Mostly smooth

THC percentage: 27.2
Effects: Very relaxing - but not sedated. Great for clearing the mind after a long day. Able to maintain focus, can also be slightly uplifting.
Overall: This batch of Scooby Snax serves as a reintroduction to Veritas, as I hadn’t reviewed any strains of theirs in 2021 as of yet. They’ve endured some challenges and obstacles since being the official Colorado partner for Cookies, but have since then seemingly adjusted to some of the newfound attention and operational considerations.
I loved this cut from the first time I tried it. After a work day I had some and felt like I was renewed going into the evening, so I could be in a better state to complete my own personal endeavors. This worked great for when I was feeling a little burnt out. The flavor was top notch for my tastes, as there was a robust range of sweetness contained here. I’ll definitely be putting Scooby Snax by Veritas in the stress-relief rotation.
UPDATE 3-3-2022: Veritas continues to have issues with consistency and quality, which makes buying their products a risky proposition. Even at reduced prices, I don't find myself seeking their products at all, and have not reviewed a strain from them since this point in 2021.
