Silver Valley By OG Medicinals

Updated: Nov 19, 2022

Strain: Silver Valley

Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid

Genetics: SFV OG x Silver Pearl

Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the jar it has a sweet/dank OG aroma along with secondary smells of fresh mustard-greens. Upon grinding, it becomes slightly funkier like cooked greens.

Taste: Sweet pine and diesel with secondary accents of dill and mustard seed. Reminds me of a tangy OG.

How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Moderately harsh

Medical or Recreational: Recreational

THC percentage: 30.65

Effects: Energetic, revived, can bring you out of a mental slumber. Smoked this on several occasions, and found improved productivity at any time of the day or night. Upbeat and euphoric as well. This strain saved my life when having to make a long road trip back to Colorado after a week of late-nights with family, as it helped revive my motivation despite vast fatigue.

Overall: I’ve seen a few fellow Coloradans post flower and products from OG Medicinals, but hadn’t personally tried them in all my years living here . My wife loves upbeat strains in which she can remain productive, so I gave this one a try in hopes it would fit the bill.

As far as the desired effects, this cut nails it, proficiently delivering enhanced focus, clarity, and revitalization if you’re mentally drained. Those effects all sit on the backdrop of positivity and an overall happy demeanor with no anxiousness. The flavor and aroma were both executed at a high level to complement the strain’s effects. All in all, I definitely want to explore more options from OG Medicinals based on my experience with Silver Valley, as this cut certainly makes the rotation for work/errands/day-time productivity.
