Strain: Super Lemon Chedda
How it’s marketed: Sativa
Genetics: Sunset Sherbert X Super Lemon Haze X Orange Apricot
Aroma (in jar and ground up): Almost exactly as advertised. The citrus, lemon influence hits the nose initially, then the funky cheese hits secondarily. Very pronounced as soon as the jar is open. The cheesiness intensifies after grinding.
Taste: The flavor leans more cheesy, but there’s a subtle sweetness throughout. Didn’t get too heavy of an influence from the presence of the super lemon haze in the lineage.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Smooth
Medical or Recreational: Recreational
THC percentage: 25.09
Effects: Started my day with this cut on one occasion and it quickly relaxed me, but didn’t have me dragging at all. A subtle body wave followed, but I remained more upbeat and motivated. Consistently made me feel euphoric on each occasion. All in all a nice, balanced, uplifting high overall.
Overall: Super Lemon Chedda has received lots of praise in the Colorado market when observing the current feedback that exists online. In general, most releases from Locol Love garner positive reaction, but a couple, including this one, get sentiments embracing them as some of the best smoke they’ve had. With its strong, distinctive smell, matched by accompanying flavor, and topped off with balanced, feel-good effects, it’s hard to deny the greatness of this offering in various situations. For all of those reasons, the Super Lemon Chedda will be something I put back in the rotation for daytime leisure or errands.
