Strain: Tally Mon
How it’s marketed: Hybrid
Genetics: Papaya x (Banana OG x Dosidos)
Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the jar it reeks of an old gym locker or funky bodily odor with a hint of sweetness. Smell intensifies slightly upon grinding.
Taste: Gassy, dank/kush, and highlights of banana.
How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Expands the lungs quickly, take it easy when pulling this one, just the nature of the strain.
Medical or Recreational: Recreational
THC percentage: 23.64
Effects: Relaxed throughout, but generally experienced a headrush at first, resulting in difficulty focusing. As the high sets in, so does some sedation, and it’s easy to zone out and be blissfully clear of thought. `
Overall: Malek’s generally nails it when it comes to capturing the true essence of a strain’s genetics. This batch of Tally Mon is no exception. The flavors closely resembled OG and Dosidos combined with fruitiness inspired by the papaya and banana. The effects transition from a balanced high to more heavy leaning, providing a full experience in every aspect. All in all, I’m throwing this cut of Tally Mon in the evening rotation, and continuing to rock with Malek’s overall. Salute to Malek’s for another great effort.
