Effects: Calm, comical, euphoric. Had a time I smoked with my family in which we all broke out laughing, making jokes about everything being discussed. Often felt upbeat and conversational.
Overall: High Country Healing primarily operates in mountain towns, with their main location being Silverthorne, and other locations in Alma and Vail. I found their cut of The Soap at a Starbuds located in Centennial when I was shopping for their birthday special. According to their website, they’ve been featured in High Times more than any other North American Dispensary, and rank as one of Colorado’s oldest recreational shops.
When it comes to this batch of The Soap from their garden, it hits the signature benchmarks I’ve come to expect when consuming this strain. There’s a blast of different flavors and terpenes that come together to deliver one of the most uniquely identifiable flavor profiles of all time. The Soap in general is becoming one of my all-time favorite strains, so any version that accomplishes its traits can make my rotation if it happens to cross my path. I don’t normally shop at Star Buds for various reasons, starting with pricing, but if I ever found myself in one of the mountain towns where they operate, I’d choose their cut of the Soap in that situation.
