The Soap By Snaxland

Updated: Nov 19, 2022

Strain: The Soap

Indica/Sativa/Hybrid: Sativa-Hybrid

Genetics: Animal Mints x Kush Mints

Aroma (in jar and ground up): Very appropriately named based on smell, as I instantly got the sensation of a floral soap, like a lavender bath-bomb of sorts. Blown away by this unique aroma. Upon grinding, it becomes funkier, but still sweet and floral overall.

Taste: Again, very appropriately named, felt like I was inhaling a natural herbal/floral hand soap, but in the healthiest, most delightful way. I also tasted some mint, as should be expected with these genetics. I had to do some research on the common terpenes associated with this strain to make sense of the flavor. It usually contains caryophyllene, limonene, and alpha-humulene. Those terpenes are commonly found in rosemary, basil, oregano, lavender, sage, pine trees, and citrus-based fruits. Sounds a lot like the scents commonly offered as soap options.

How it Smokes (smooth, harsh etc.): Mostly smooth

Medical or Recreational: Recreational

THC percentage: 31.71

Effects: Relaxed, made me feel exceedingly comfortable and free of anxiousness during the day. Uplifted with clarity.

Overall: This was my first experience ever trying “The Soap”, as I hadn’t tried it in any other cannabis markets, and I don’t believe it’s been in Colorado before this offering from Snaxland Colorado. Pretty much everything about this strain blew me away. The smell and taste were both unique experiences that were extremely accurate to the strain name. Amazing how all of those terpenes come together perfectly. The effects were ideal for a daytime smoke during the work week, or for a social setting to keep the conversation flowing. I highly recommended giving this strain from Snaxland a try. It’ll certainly be in my daytime and social rotations.
