Aroma (in jar and ground up): From the jar, it’s a balance of gassy/pungent with hints of sweet cane sugar behind it. Upon grinding, some dankness emerges along with intensification of the diesel/gas aroma.

Effects: As the lineage would suggest, Thunderdome is a heavy hitter. As I lit the first joint, I started to space after just 2-3 hits, and decided to put it out after another 2-3 hits. Continued effects include a body high, heavy sedation, and relaxed thoughts.
Overall: If there’s one major take-away when purchasing a flower release from Green Dot Labs, it’s the fact they nail the expected profile of a strain based on the given lineage. For example with this Thunderdome, the balance of flavors between the heavy gas/pungent nature of the garlic banger and the sweeter dessert nature of the candy cake fused evenly. The effects also felt like two heavy hitting varietals combined for an experience to lay the user in the dirt with a euphoric bliss. The Thunderdome certainly makes the rotation for late nights, or daytime sessions chilling out with some home entertainment. Another great effort by the team at Greendot Labs.
